ScienBiziP attended the 128th AIPPI World Intellectual Property Conference held in Yokohama, Japan from September 13 to 16, 2025. Known as the “Davos of the Intellectual Property Field,” the AIPPI World Intellectual Property Congress is one of the most high-profile and influential professional conferences in the global intellectual property field.

Hosted by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) — founded in 1897 with its headquarters in Switzerland — the first AIPPI Congress was held in Vienna in 1897. In its early days, the congress was held annually, focusing primarily on fundamental topics such as patents and trademarks. Today, the congress continues to be held once a year, and the resolutions adopted at the event are submitted to international organizations like the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), significantly influencing the direction of global IP legislation.
The 2025 congress, held in Yokohama, Japan, attracted over 2,500 IP professionals from various countries around the world.
During the congress, ScienBiziP engaged in in-depth exchanges on IP expertise with IP experts from various countries, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, India, Australia, Brazil, Russia, Thailand, Pakistan, Indonesia, Singapore, Egypt, Nigeria, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Turkey, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Saudi Arabia.
In face-to-face discussions with IP professionals from all over the world, ScienBiziP jointly shared practical case experiences covering a wide range of IP fields. These fields include multi-country patent strategic planning, patent circumvention and invalidation, patent invalidity proceedings, IP infringement litigation, patent FTO (Freedom to Operate) risk assessment, Amazon IP rights protection and infringement response, multi-country patent drawing, trademark opposition and invalidation, as well as settlement and litigation response for U.S. cross-border e-commerce TRO (Temporary Restraining Order).
Guided by the principle of “Client First, Quality First,” ScienBiziP will continue to provide professional, rigorous, and client-centric IP services. ScienBiziP looks forward to collaborating with IP professionals and institutions worldwide. Feel free to reach out to us for any inquiries or partnerships.
