On September 25, 2025, the “Intellectual Property Patent Navigation Special Training” was held at the ScienBiziP Group. The event was organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, co-organized by the Bao’an Supervision Bureau of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, hosted by ScienBiziP, and supported by the Bao’an District Intellectual Property Protection Center and the Guangdong Zhicheng Intellectual Property Research Institute.

Peng Huijian, Director of ScienBiziP Group and an expert from the Shenzhen Intellectual Property Expert Database, delivered a speech for this training. He pointed out that in recent years, Chinese enterprises have significantly accelerated their pace of going global. Faced with an increasingly complex overseas patent environment, how to use patent navigation as a strategic tool to precisely plan innovation pathways, prevent and control potential risks, and efficiently layout the global market through the PCT international patent system is a critical issue that enterprises must prioritize.

Tang Fangfang, Director of the ScienBiziP Group and an expert from the Shantou Intellectual Property Expert Database, delivered a thematic presentation on “Patent Navigation Strategy from a Global Perspective: Overseas Risk Prevention and Control, and the Construction of a High-Value Patent Portfolio System.” Drawing on her fifteen years of experience in intellectual property practice and project management, Ms. Tang systematically elaborated on how to leverage patent navigation to achieve early risk warning, design-around strategies, and the construction of a high-value patent system. Chen Haiyun, Director of ScienBiziP and an expert from the Shantou Intellectual Property Expert Database, delivered a speech titled “Patent Navigation Empowering PCT Applications: Strategic Layout and Practical Guidelines.” Drawing on twenty years of practical experience in multinational enterprise IP management and multi-country patent systems, he provided an in-depth analysis of key aspects in the PCT application process, including strategic planning, national phase selection, cost control, and quality management. His insights aim to help enterprises overcome bottlenecks in overseas IP layout and achieve efficient acquisition of rights.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by Peng Huijian, Director of ScienBiziP Group. It featured three seasoned intellectual property experts as special guests: Mr. Hou Bo, Head of Intellectual Property at Pulasi New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.; Ms. Wang Juan, Director of Dingyan Intellectual Property; and Ms. Liu Yonghui, Director of ScienBiziP Group.
