On August 9th, the “Medical Device Enterprise Intellectual Property Special Training Conference” was held at the Longhua District Intellectual Property Service Center, hosted by the Longhua Regulatory Bureau of the Shenzhen Market Supervision Administration and the Longhua District Intellectual Property Service Center, and organized by the ScienBiziP Group.
Wu Shengbin, the first level senior organizer of the Longhua Regulatory Bureau of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the heads of the Medical Device Department and Intellectual Property Department of the Longhua Regulatory Bureau of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Zheng Xiaobing, the business backbone of the Longhua District Intellectual Property Service Center and the general manager of ScienBiziP, as well as representatives of dozens of medical device enterprises in Longhua District attended the event.

Wu Shengbin, the first level senior organizer of the Longhua Regulatory Bureau of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, first delivered a speech at the event and introduced the event situation, intellectual property policies in Longhua District, and the development of related industries. He stated that this event aims to provide professional assistance in intellectual property for medical device companies, and hopes to improve the theoretical and practical level of intellectual property for relevant practitioners through training and learning, providing support for companies to better cultivate and apply intellectual property.

Zheng Xiaobing, General Manager of ScienBiziP, brought a themed training on “Patent Layout and Intellectual Property Strategy in the Medical Device Industry”. Starting from the concept of intellectual property and the current situation of the medical device industry, he analyzed the theoretical overview of intellectual property, technological trends in the medical device industry, and competitive landscape. Starting from four aspects including patent information analysis and patent risk control, combined with key cases, explain the methodology and practice of intellectual property rights in medical device enterprises. He emphasized that the cultivation and utilization of intellectual property rights by enterprises should be based on the fundamental purpose of “building commercial advantages”, which has also been the core goal considered by ScienBiziP in providing professional services to customers for many years.

Li Gongke, the head of the Medical Device Department and Intellectual Property Department of the Longhua Regulatory Bureau of the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, presided over the event. He introduced the business situation of the Longhua District Intellectual Property Service Center and explained and promoted the relevant preferential policies for intellectual property in Longhua District.

Through this training, representatives from various enterprises have further understood the key theories and practical skills of intellectual property in the medical device industry, and deepened their grasp of the intellectual property policies and industry situation in Longhua District.
